Coraline is a fantastic, spooky little book that I think everyone should read, no matter their age. Neil Gaiman has this incredible way of making a story both whimsical and genuinely creepy. It’s about a girl who finds a door to a parallel world with an ‘Other Mother’ who wants to sew buttons into her eyes, and that chilling concept is just the beginning. The book is full of suspense and clever moments, and Coraline herself is such a smart, brave heroine. It’s a quick read but a memorable one—perfect for a dark and stormy night. If you’re a fan of dark fairy tales or just a well-written spooky story, you’ll love this.
